About pages

these pages should help you with orientation in this complicated language and should also give you advice how to study this worldwide known language in the most effective way. Therefore you are able to find here a lot of grammar, exercises and interesting essays which I have personally prepared for you. The part which you will be interested the most in is surely the part including tests. Tests (and also essays) are divided into three levels according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. This framework divides knowledge of language into levels: A – beginners, B – intermediate/upper intermediate, C – advanced. Exactly into: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2. I decided to use this partition because it will help you in orientation which level you should start with.

According to The Framework you can pass several exams English language which will verify your knowledge (in reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary, listening and speaking).

The most important exams of General English:

  • A2 – KET – Ket English Test
  • B1 – PET – Preliminary English Test
  • B2 – FCE – First Certificate in English
  • C1 – CAE – Certificate in Advanced English
  • C2 – CPE – Certificate of Proficiency in English

Passing such certificates can be or mainly is very much appreciated by employers who are able to distinguish immediately how much you can work and communicate in English.

The slogan Smart and Simple English should motivate you to further study of the language because if the student does his best, the English is really "simple" and you are to be more and more "clever".
